The design was drawn from archival photographic plates from Biggs of Maidenhead, a family run business with a rich history. Hand carved from mahogany, the frame is finished with a bespoke water gilding technique using 13 carat white gold leaf. The painted areas are then waxed to add depth and tone, enhancing the mirrors overall elegance.
