The box is made of Northern White Pine and the top is made of 3/4" MDO sign plywood and has a dado cut in the bottom so it can't move from side to side the depth of the frame ledge has been increased to compensate for the inset

The Pine J Nuc Box is designed for long life and durability

Components assemble to a finished size of 9-5/8" x 13-3/4" x 19 7/8" outside

The spaces on the excluders are small enough for bees to travel back and forth from the Brood box to the Honey Supers but the queens is a little too large to fit through.
